About Tiffany Matthews, BSW, MJ, BCPA & PACE
Who is Your Healthcare BFF?
Tiffany Matthews is known for her passion & dedication to improving patient care and supporting caregivers. She has been in healthcare since 1995 and healthcare since 1998.
Her journey to opening PACE began in the most personal of ways—watching her mother break under the weight of caregiving for her beloved Gram at end-of-life AND caring for her daughter with 2 rare spinal conditions.
The death of her grandmother & her negative healthcare experience, her mother's devastating caregiving journey, and her expertise in healthcare & social work ignited a spark in Tiffany, drawing her into the world of healthcare & patient advocacy. She recognized early on the significant challenges faced by both caregivers and patients, driving her to find ways to help them when trying to get good healthcare.
Tiffany is a:
- Former healthcare social worker
- Board Certified Patient Advocate
- Lay Leader for Chronic Disease Self-Management Program
- Creator of The Powerful Patient Partner® Program
- Writer
- Mom - 1 human, 1 furry (I'm a Cat Lady)
Driven to empower others, Tiffany created the Powerful Patient Partner® Program. This innovative program shows her dedication to giving caregivers and patients the tools they need to navigate the healthcare landscape effectively. The program aims to improve patient care and the delivery of healthcare to patients by promoting partnerships with doctors to get better care. She wanted to make sure that caregivers and patients are educated and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

PACE was formed from a combination of frustration, hurt & anger with the business of healthcare, as well as the witnessing the devastation caregiving can have on individuals and families.
